The right kind of election reform

In Wisconsin they are reforming the election system the way it should be done, at the state level. Republicans in the state legislature have introduced a bill that would require voters to show photo identification in order to cast their ballots.
The voter ID legislation, which Rep. Jeff Stone (R-Greendale) and Sen. Joe Leibham (R-Sheboygan) introduced, is similar to a bill that Gov. Jim Doyle vetoed in 2003. The two lawmakers said the measure is a "reasonable and sensible" approach to correcting some of the problems that emerged in Milwaukee and that rattle residents' faith in the system.

Hopefully this goes through without trouble. A Democratic initiative to block this legislation would send a terrible, but accurate, portrayal of the donks' opinion of how to deal with voter fraud -- ignore it.
