Two more examples of "peace" and "tolerance" from the Left

Two things that prove even more that the Left (both in this country and world-wide) are not the peaceful, tolerant, and loving people that they purport to be.

By way of INDC Journal, the first example is the most sickening. I pray to God that the Secret Service find a way to make this guy's life very, very hard, even though he is a Brit. This appeared in the Guardian (yep, the one your thinking of) courtesy of one sick man, Charlie Brooker:
On November 2, the entire civilized world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?
Absolutely sickening. I cannot imagine the mind that would think that is acceptable to write. I can never conceive of thinking this way, even about one of my worst political enemies. I'm not usually one to wish someone harm, but I hope this man gets what's coming to him, if not on Earth then down below.

The second example, cited on, is from Arizona and is less offensive but no more civilized. From the Arizona Daily Sun:
Political motivations turned criminal Thursday night or early Friday when vandals smashed a large glass door with a section of cinder block at the Republican Party headquarters in downtown Flagstaff.

A pile of shattered glass joined egg shells filling the entryway to the GOP offices, located on Humphreys Street across from Wheeler Park. Fliers with information criticizing President Bush were staked up outside the door.
The Left is certainly no longer a good representation of the liberal tradition.

UPDATE: I am sending an email to the editor ( and the author( of the article; I urge you to do the same.

UPDATE II: Powerline is reporting that contrary to many reports the article is still on The Guardian's site. They also have a good take on where the hatred of the Left is heading.
